Angstrom Sciences Expands R&D and Design Staff
Angstrom Sciences, Inc., a leading manufacturer of sputtering cathodes for thin film deposition, has expanded its Research & Development and Engineering & Design departments in order to keep up with market demand.
Jason Maline stepped into a new full-time CAD design position in April after the appointment of Jason Lowmaster to Development Engineer, R&D and the promotion of Ron Bergman to the position of CAD Manager earlier in the year.
“We have been looking for new ways to streamline the engineering process,” Bergman said. “Jason Lowmaster’s expertise in product development and Jason Maline’s extensive CAD experience will be assets to our moving forward.”
The company’s staff increase coincides with the growing popularity of Angstrom Sciences’ new cylindrical magnetron sputtering cathode – a deposition tool designed to improve manufacturing efficiency in the booming solar cell and flat panel display markets.
